Get started

A few deliberate steps take you from an idea to a feature your members can use.

  1. Sign in with Discord

Open the Control Panel and sign in with the Discord account you use to manage your server.

  2. Open your server

Choose a server you can manage with the bot installed, then select a module.

  3. Configure and save

Choose channels and options. Save your changes with the save bar.

  4. Use the relevant test

Use the module’s test action and check the result in the selected Discord channel. Enabling a feature is a deliberate next step.

The permissions you need

Bot permissions are already prepared

Our invite link already includes the appropriate bot permissions. Accept the suggested selection when inviting the bot and keep those bot-role permissions unchanged afterwards. You do not need to configure them one by one.

Channel access: Private or restricted channels must still allow the bot role the access it needs in your chosen channel.

  • To configure this feature, you need Administrator or Manage Server on your Discord server.
  • The bot does not need Administrator. Its effective permissions in the selected channel are what matters.
  • Operations settings require server owner or Administrator access. Approved organisers manage events within their own permissions.

Good to know

Does the Control Panel create notification channels?

In the Control Panel, you choose existing channels. The optional creation of default channels is an explicit action in the Discord Notification Center.

Why can’t I see my server?

Check that you signed in with the correct Discord account, can manage the server and have installed the bot there.
