Friendly-Helpers Discord-Bot

Clan Operations Center

Whether it’s a gaming evening, training or a community event, the Operations Center brings events and participation together on your Discord server. A persistent board shows upcoming plans; members confirm, express interest or withdraw.

Clan Operations Center

Shared plans. Clear commitments.

One place for every event

The next shared activity stays visible on the board instead of disappearing into chat history.

Know who’s joining

Confirmed participants take places; interest remains an informal response.

Fewer follow-up questions

What you can do

Events with useful details

Describe the event and set its start, optional end, capacity and registration window. New events use the Europe/Berlin time zone.

Participate through Discord

The German controls “Zusagen”, “Interessiert”, “Abmelden” and “Meine Teilnahme” keep participation simple. Personal details are shown privately.

Pass on available places

When an event is full, further registrations join the waiting list. When a place becomes free, the next waiting member moves up automatically.

Recurring meetups

Simple weekly series create separate events with their own registrations. Individual dates can be changed or cancelled separately.

Personal updates

Change notices and reminders support planning. Direct messages are optional; personal notices remain available through your participation view.

Get started

A few deliberate steps take you from an idea to a feature your members can use.

  1. Arrange access

The Operations Center is currently in a limited introduction. Discuss your planned use with us first.

  2. Prepare in the Control Panel

Choose an existing target channel and approved organisers. Saving with the feature enabled immediately creates the persistent Discord board.

  3. Publish an event

Create an event with a description and capacity, then publish it. A board without published events can initially be empty.

  4. Take part together

Members select an event on the Discord board and manage their participation. Organisers keep track of registrations.

Where to manage it

Control Panel

Owners and administrators configure the module. They and explicitly approved organisers can manage events; delegated web access is granted to individual users.

Discord board

Members manage participation through the board. Organisers can also manage events there; access can be granted to individual users or roles.

A closer look

Original screenshots will show the actual German interface.

The permissions you need

Bot permissions are already prepared

Our invite link already includes the appropriate bot permissions. Accept the suggested selection when inviting the bot and keep those bot-role permissions unchanged afterwards. You do not need to configure them one by one.

Channel access: Private or restricted channels must still allow the bot role the access it needs in your chosen channel.

  • Setup and access grants require the server owner or Administrator. Manage Server alone is not sufficient for Operations.
  • Owners, administrators and explicitly approved organisers manage events. Members see their own participation information; full participant lists are reserved for organisers.
  • In the board channel, the bot needs View Channel, Send Messages, Embed Links and Read Message History, without Administrator.

Good to know

Do we need a WoWS clan?

No. Events belong to your Discord server and work independently of a World of Warships clan.

Are members automatically sent private messages?

Direct messages are optional. Without personal opt-in, no event DMs are sent; personal notices remain available through the participation view.

Can external guests register on the website?

The current introduction focuses on participation within your Discord server. External registration is not part of the available scope.

What you can try depends on the public channels and your server permissions. Admin centres and the Control Panel remain for server administrators; during its limited introduction, we arrange Operations Center demonstrations individually.
