Get started

A few deliberate steps take you from an idea to a feature your members can use.

  1. Ask your first question

Open the slash commands on your server. Available suggestions help you select ships, players and clans.

    /info/profil/clanduell
  2. Follow a link for more detail

Use the relevant web links in the bot response to open detailed statistics and comparisons.

  3. Optional: prepare demo mode

In demo mode, choose the target channel, interval and commands. Choose player and clan sources separately from linked server clans or suitable public web data.

    /demomodus einrichten
  4. Test in the right channel

Use the test action to send one demonstration to the configured target channel. Only a successful test there enables activation. Changing channels requires another test.

The permissions you need

Bot permissions are already prepared

Our invite link already includes the appropriate bot permissions. Accept the suggested selection when inviting the bot and keep those bot-role permissions unchanged afterwards. You do not need to configure them one by one.

Channel access: Private or restricted channels must still allow the bot role the access it needs in your chosen channel.

  • Members need access to the channel and permission to use application commands. The bot needs the permissions required for its response, usually View Channel, Send Messages and Embed Links.
  • Demo mode settings require Administrator or Manage Server. The bot does not need Administrator.

Good to know

Which 16 commands can demo mode showcase?

/zufallsschiff, /info, /vergleich, /profil, /ranked, /expert player, /schiffstats, /schiffduell, /clanmitglieder, /clanduell, /clanrang, /clanrekorde, /spieler-rankings, /karte, /kommandant and /rekorde.

Is the private reply a chatbot?

The private reply provides orientation: it explains the bot and offers command help and developer contact. It does not hold an open-ended conversation or forward your message.

Which battle modes can I choose?

Relevant analysis commands offer PvP and Co-op with solo and division variants, Operations and overall Ranked. Ship views and public player rankings also include Clan Battles. PvP is the default. The /ranked command still shows rank and league; ranked quizzes are scored quiz sessions.

Why are some values unavailable?

Depending on the player, game mode and available data, information may be missing or private profiles may be unavailable. Output indicates these limits instead of treating missing data as a real zero.
