If you want to get out of Transdust Ruins with your loot, you should think about the way back before your inventory fills up. A new planning tool can help: The Hidden Gaming Lair expanded its interactive Where Winds Meet map to cover the extraction mode on 19 October 2026.
At the same time, the existing item database gains additional crafting information. Both additions come from a community project; they do not change the game’s rules or crafting costs.
Transdust Ruins: 611 markers for loot and exits
The new overview is this map project’s first dedicated Transdust Ruins map. As of 20 October 2026, 08:05 CEST, it contains 611 map markers.
You can distinguish between several sources when looking for loot:
| Area | Available markers |
|---|---|
| Treasure chests | Common through to particularly high-quality chests. |
| Other containers | Camp Chests, Mechanical Lockboxes and Safe Containers. |
| Special treasures | Whitecrown Fortress treasures and Shadowdart Flying Catfish chests. |
| Searchable objects | Bookshelves, cabinets, coffins and pack camels. |
There is a separate filter for chests that can only be opened with a treasure map.
The extraction points are at least as useful. The map distinguishes between normal, timed, lightly loaded and paid extraction options. Exits that only appear in AI modes are marked accordingly. This makes it easier to check which points are relevant to your planned run before you start.
Plan routes and understand the limits
The main practical benefit comes before a run starts: compare loot sources, think about a possible route and keep an alternative exit in mind. If you are new to the mode, our Transdust Ruins guide covers the basics.
However, the overview still has two important limitations:
- There is no detailed terrain view yet. The markers therefore do not amount to a fully developed terrain map.
- Live position tracking is deliberately absent, because Transdust Ruins is a PvP mode.
The map helps with preparation. It cannot guarantee loot or a safe extraction; other players and the way a run unfolds remain unpredictable.
Crafting data for 397 items and pieces of gear
The second addition is aimed at anyone who cooks, crafts gear or develops their Homestead. For 397 craftable items and pieces of gear, the database now shows ingredients, required quantities and the relevant crafting station.
Supported facilities include cooking stations, alchemy tables, forges, workbenches and various Homestead production buildings. If you need to learn a recipe before making an item, the relevant recipe item is shown as well.
You can also search in the other direction: material pages show which crafting recipes use that material. This can help us check what we need before the next gathering trip or decide which supplies are worth keeping.
Conclusion
The Transdust Ruins map is the more exciting addition for the next loot run; the recipe data complements it with a practical tool for crafting and managing supplies. Both are worth a look if we want to plan our next steps more carefully.
We still have to get the timing of our retreat right ourselves. After all, even a well-planned route will not carry a full inventory to the exit for us.
