Following the launch of Version 2.3, “Friends From Afar”, Everstone is clearing away some stumbling blocks. The official patch notes from 16 October 2026 contain 25 bug fixes, including changes that directly affect combat, rewards and joining the Inkbound Order.
We pick out the points that matter most for your next login. This is not a new round of content; the focus is on fixes following the Qingzhou launch.
Infernal Twinblades and Super Armor: what changes in combat
For Infernal Twinblades, the second phase of the special skill Greed Bane – Soul executes significantly faster. The skill also triggers a Perfect Dodge in online dungeons.
If you build these effects into your combinations, it is worth testing your rotation again. The Perfect Dodge detail explicitly applies to online dungeons. The available information does not give a specific percentage for the increased execution speed.
A Super Armor bug affecting Talon Strike and Yaksha Rush has also been fixed: after breaking an opponent’s defence, the protection they granted remained active longer than intended. That excessive duration has been corrected. Anyone who previously timed attacks around this extra protection window may need to adjust.
Check outstanding rewards again
Three fixes concern rewards that some players previously could not receive or claim correctly:
| Area | Fixed problem |
|---|---|
| Season 4, “Forge Ahead” | Completion titles from Sword Trial and Hero’s Realm were not always awarded correctly. |
| Skyward Bond | The Season 4 guild badge could not be claimed. |
| Taiping Mausoleum | Under certain circumstances, the Uncut Jade reward was not received after completing challenges. |
If you were affected, it is worth checking the relevant rewards again. Automatic retrospective delivery of all missing rewards has not been explicitly confirmed.
A duration-related bug with Relaying Stone: Mirage for Tier 96 gear has also been corrected. The available information does not clearly establish whether the actual duration or its display was affected. No specific old and new values are given.
Inkbound Order and Homestead: blockers removed
Some players could not see individual questions in the Inkbound Order entrance examination. According to the patch notes, this is fixed. Anyone whose application was blocked by it can try the examination again.
In the Homestead system, the fix concerns cooking: some players could not configure their production queues. This feature should now work as intended again.
Arena, a recipe and controls
There are several practical fixes beyond the new sect, too:
- Serene Breeze: the Mystic Skill can be used in the Arena again.
- Frost Paper: the crafting recipe now requires Honeysuckle instead of Cocklebur. If you regularly produce supplies, adjust your material planning.
- Wildtrail “Ruffled Up”: you can leave the activity again after a failed attempt.
- Transdust Ruins: a bug when buying the Treasure Hoarder title has been fixed.
- Controller: the previously non-functional L3 button has been fixed.
There are also corrections to Graceful Melody’s hit or scoring judgements, plus fixes for several visual issues in the wardrobe, Appearance sets and gallery.
These patch notes do not confirm a general fix for the reported FPS drops. They do not mention a corresponding performance correction.
Conclusion
The patch is particularly relevant for anyone who plays Infernal Twinblades, is waiting for rewards or was stuck in the Inkbound Order examination. That leaves three quick checks for the next gaming session: test your rotation, check outstanding rewards and retry blocked activities.
And if you want to craft Frost Paper, bring Honeysuckle this time. Even a small recipe change can lead to an unplanned gathering trip.
