Friendly Helpers' automatic statistics voice channels display selected server and clan information directly in Discord. The associated admin features have now been revised to make activation, use and deactivation clearer and more reliable.
New servers start without automatic channels
On new Discord servers, the statistics features are initially disabled. The bot therefore does not create new stats channels on its own. The feature only becomes active when the server administrators deliberately configure it.
This gives us a clear starting point: adding the bot does not automatically change the channel structure. The decision to use Server Stats or Clan Stats stays with the responsible admins on each server.
Statistics remain a display
When the feature is enabled, the bot creates its managed stats channels as locked voice channels. They serve as a visible statistics display rather than ordinary voice channels for conversations.
That design fits their purpose: the channel names convey the relevant status, while the voice channels themselves are not intended for people to join normally. Server Stats and Clan Stats follow the same basic principle.
A clean finish when disabled
Deactivation has also been considered. Disabling one of the managed statistics features causes the bot to clean up its associated channels properly. No display still managed by the bot remains after deactivation.
The status messages for Server Stats and Clan Stats have also been brought into visual alignment. Admins now receive more consistent feedback about the configuration in both areas.
The revision therefore covers the feature's entire small lifecycle: it starts disabled on new servers, creates locked display channels after deliberate activation, and removes them again when disabled. Together with the aligned status messages, this makes automatic server and clan statistics easier to manage.
