What began as an idea for custom battle ribbons has grown into four standalone mods. Our FH Ribbon Collection is now available on the official World of Warships ModHub: On 26 October 2026, Wargaming approved all four variants and made them publicly available.
If you know Friendly Helpers mainly through our ship database or Discord bot, the Collection offers another side of our project to explore. It gives familiar battle events a different look, with four distinct design directions.
Four designs, one collection
The starting point was a wish to give the ribbons in World of Warships a more individual appearance. That idea developed into a collection in which each style is a complete set of its own.
All four variants share the same scope: 33 main ribbons, 25 rectangular and 14 square sub-graphics make 72 graphics per set, or 288 graphics across the Collection. They also share the same purpose: changing the visual presentation of existing battle events. They add no new gameplay information or gameplay advantages.
The difference is in the design. From understated glass effects to traditional naval ribbons, the Collection deliberately covers a range of tastes.
The four ribbon styles
FH Clear
FH Clear takes a restrained, glass-inspired approach. Transparent surfaces, silver symbols and fine illuminated edges give the ribbons a light, uncluttered appearance. The style stays visually understated and lets the individual symbols speak for themselves. View on ModHub.
FH Modern Military
FH Modern Military combines dark metal surfaces with bold insignia. Carefully placed military colour accents stand out against the dark base. The result has a stronger, more angular feel while maintaining a consistent design throughout the set. View on ModHub.
FH Premium Gaming
FH Premium Gaming is the Collection's most colourful direction. Rich colours and luminous accents come together in a polished gaming aesthetic. For players who prefer more conspicuous ribbons, it offers a distinct counterpart to FH Clear. View on ModHub.
FH Naval Heritage
FH Naval Heritage draws on classic naval aesthetics: woven ribbons, steel frames and silver relief symbols. Its design recalls traditional decorations and brings that character to the battle ribbons. View on ModHub.
Officially available on ModHub
All four mods were submitted and approved for World of Warships 15.9. Each variant has its own public entry on the official ModHub. Our product pages offer a closer look at the designs for comparison; each style also links directly to its ModHub entry.
The existing direct downloads on our website and GitHub releases remain available. ModHub adds another way to find the mods.
Conclusion
The ModHub release marks a welcome next step for the FH Ribbon Collection. Four designs, a shared scope and the freedom to choose your own style: that was the original idea.
We are pleased to have received approval and want to keep developing our FH mods. For your next battle, the more enjoyable question remains: glass, metal, bright colours or naval ribbon?
