Installation and use
Friendly-Helpers | FH Naval Heritage Quick guide - manual installation for World of Warships (PC) 1. Fully close World of Warships. 2. Open the mod folder for your active game client: <WoWS>\bin\<active build number>\res_mods\ If several builds exist, use the client version actually being run. In game_info.xml, find version name="client", installed; its final number is the build number. Read this file; do not edit it. 3. Back up existing ribbon-mod files. Use only one FH style at a time; all FH styles use the same resource paths. 4. Copy only the "gui" folder from this ZIP into "res_mods". Result: res_mods\gui\ribbons\ with "subribbons" inside it. Work only in the mod folder. Do not replace files in "res", "idx" or "res_packages", and do not change loader or XML files. 5. Start the game and check the graphics in a training battle. Uninstall: Close the game. Remove only this package's 72 installed PNGs (match filenames against the extracted ZIP), or restore your backed-up mod version. Leave other mods and original game files untouched. Game updates may change the active build folder and compatibility. Recheck the mod path and suitable package version after each update.
