New: compare two clans in a direct Clan Duel

The new /clanduell slash command compares two WoWS clans directly in Discord and links to a detailed, shareable website view.

Discord comparison of two clans showing activity, performance and member distribution.

You can now use /clanduell to compare two World of Warships clans directly in Discord. The bot provides the quick overview; the new Clan Duel page on Friendly Helpers then shows the full comparison and can be shared through its own link.

Select two clans directly in Discord

The new slash command asks for two clans. As you type, the bot suggests matching clan tags and names. It then displays both sides in a compact side-by-side view:

  • Members and activity over the past 7 and 30 days
  • Typical win rate and damage for the current membership
  • Current Clan Battle league, battles and win rate
  • Strongest PvP nation and ship class, with their share of battles

A button below the result opens the same duel in the detailed website view. This keeps the Discord output clear without cutting out the details.

A fairer comparison than simply adding up numbers

A larger clan almost inevitably accumulates more battles, damage and records. Those totals therefore tell us little about how two clans of different sizes compare. For the actual performance comparison, Clan Duel mainly uses rates and typical member values.

For win rate and damage, all players with usable data are sorted by their values. The player value in the middle represents the clan and describes its typical membership, without a few exceptionally strong or very active players substantially shifting the result. Activity is also shown as a proportion of members with usable data. We deliberately do not invent an overall winner: each metric stands on its own.

Data coverage is part of the result

Not every WoWS profile is public, and the necessary information is not available for every member. Friendly Helpers therefore shows how many members an analysis is based on. Private or missing values are not treated as zero.

Performance figures are lifetime values for the currently listed members. They were therefore not necessarily earned during their time in their current clan. This explanation remains visible in both the bot and the website so that the comparison can be interpreted correctly.

The complete Clan Duel page

On the website, the comparison goes beyond the compact Discord response. The two clans' values are displayed opposite each other row by row, from membership and activity to typical performance figures and current Clan Battle standing.

Additional charts show how the recorded battles for both clans are distributed across nations and ship classes. These compare proportions rather than simple totals, and both sides use the same scale. Personal records held by current members remain visible in a separate section, but are presented neutrally and do not contribute to a duel score.

Each completed result also has a share button. This lets you pass a specific duel directly to your clan, Discord or friends as a short Friendly Helpers link.

You can start the new tool on the Clan Duel page. In the Discord bot, simply use /clanduell to select both clans and retrieve the comparison directly.
