A good equipment roll is easier to recognise when we know what is possible. That is where Gear Affix Ranges, the new tool from The Hidden Gaming Lair, comes in: It presents 5,190 affix entries with value ranges, quality thresholds and tuning costs.
There are also two anniversary events and a deadline for tonight: Lucky Lantern and Aureate Dominion reach their announced end on November 8 at 21:59 CET. Anyone still interested in either offer should check those first.
Gear Affix Ranges: Check the possibilities before tuning
The community tool released on November 8 lets us select specific equipment. It shows which attributes can appear on that item and the minimum and maximum values they can have.
The overview also includes quality tiers, suitable martial paths, Attunement options, set bonuses and the Coin costs of tuning levels. Its 5,190 entries are records of possible affixes, not that many entirely different attributes.
This is a new planning aid, not a change to the game's equipment rules. For the wider context of tuning, Attunement and the equipment progression documented so far, see our version 2.3 and Season 5 overview.
Example: How good is Power on the Frosthook Helm?
For the Frosthook Helm at equipment tier 110, the tool contains the following example for the Power attribute:
| Entry | Value |
|---|---|
| Possible range | 38.4 to 76.8 |
| Blue quality starts at | 38.4 |
| Purple quality starts at | 53.9 |
| Gold quality starts at | 69.2 |
Tier 110 belongs to the selected database example here. It does not establish a newly confirmed tier unlock for the global version. For personal planning, the item and equipment tier selected in the tool must match the equipment actually being used.
As a worked example, take an existing Power value of 60: It is above the purple threshold of 53.9, but below the gold threshold of 69.2. It sits 16.8 points below the displayed maximum of 76.8. That lets us assess the value without relying on colour alone.
What we cannot calculate from this is the chance of improving it on the next attempt. The tool shows possible values and thresholds, not roll or drop probabilities. Even a large gap to the maximum does not promise that another tuning attempt will produce an improvement.
Our take
Before spending more Coins and materials, we would check four things:
- Select the correct item and tier.
- Check whether the desired attribute is possible at all.
- Compare the existing value with its range and quality thresholds.
- Consider tuning costs, the set bonus and the needs of the build together.
A high number alone does not make an item suitable for a particular playstyle. The tool mainly helps us decide where to invest further and where the existing result is good enough for our needs.
Spectral Scroll: Check the quests and discount conditions first
Spectral Scroll is scheduled to run from November 13 at 16:00 to November 27 at 21:59 CET. The cosmetic set Whispered Omens arrives alongside it.
Event quests are intended to improve reward progress and unlock limited-time discounts. Exact discounts, the full tasks and required progression levels have not yet been published. It also has not been confirmed that the complete outfit can be obtained for free.
Anyone already interested in the set should check the event quests and actual discount conditions before buying. We cannot yet derive a specific final price. The other announced events around Flowing Clarity and Anniversary Reunion are covered in our Hutuo and events overview.
Goose Gifts Galore: Play together and earn chances to win
Anniversary Kickoff: Goose Gifts Galore! has been running since November 7 and is scheduled through December 4, 2026. Event tasks award chances to win. One example mentioned in the announcement is inviting new or returning players and playing together with them.
Possible physical prizes include a GeForce RTX 5080 and a product described as “iPhone Duo”. The short announcement does not provide complete participation rules or regional restrictions; those should be checked before entering. We do not infer a specific model from the name “iPhone Duo”.
Players who already want to bring friends back for the anniversary can combine that shared playtime with participation. A chance to win is not a guaranteed physical prize or a promised progression reward.
Cosmetics: Today's deadlines and a new collector's reference
For two previously announced offers, tonight's deadline is the key detail:
| Offer | Announced end in Central European Time |
|---|---|
| Lucky Lantern – umbrella design chest with a collection reward | November 8, 2026, 21:59 CET |
| Aureate Dominion – limited-time appearance offer | November 8, 2026, 21:59 CET |
For Aureate Dominion, also check whether its associated event feature is still available in-game. Lotus Crane and Mindful Joy, meanwhile, have reached their announced release date.

Archive image of “Fading Harvest” from an earlier outfit announcement. It does not show Whispered Omens; the “2/16” date printed on the image belongs to that earlier offer.
Collectors also have a new Weapon Reforging overview from Where Guilds Meet. It covers weapon appearances, Taiyi Stones, Melodies and the Silent Voice Shop. As with the affix tool, this is community-organised information, not a newly introduced game mechanic.
The separate availability windows for the recently announced Battle Pass outfits remain listed in our Frostbound Edge and Willow Breeze article.
Conclusion
Gear Affix Ranges is today's most practical addition: We can compare possible attributes, value ranges and costs before the next tuning attempt. The decision still depends on our build and resources; the tool does not promise better rolls.
For Spectral Scroll, watch for the upcoming discount conditions; for Goose Gifts Galore, check the participation rules. Anyone still considering Lucky Lantern or Aureate Dominion should keep November 8 at 21:59 CET in mind. These reports do not establish a new global gameplay patch, balance changes or an additional officially confirmed gift code.
