The Friendly Helpers home page mainly serves two purposes: introducing the Discord bot and leading into the command catalogue. The changelog previously embedded there occupied another topic block alongside them. To separate these areas more clearly, the old changelog block has been removed from the home page and prepared as its own subpage.
More focus on the bot and commands
After the reorganisation, the home page stays more closely focused on its role as the bot's landing page. Visitors get an overview of Friendly Helpers and can then explore the available commands. Ongoing project changes no longer sit between those sections.
Older comment blocks about FYHS and the Bot Lab have also been removed from the home page. This brings the landing page's central elements and command catalogue further to the forefront. Those existing topics remain part of the project, but no longer occupy an additional changes section on the home page.
A dedicated place for changes
The changelog now has its own page. Changes to the bot, website and other project areas can be collected there without lengthening the home page. Entries remain in chronological order and can be read independently of the landing page.
The new subpage is accessible through the footer. This keeps the changelog discoverable from other pages, while the home page retains its clearer focus.
Two pages with clear purposes
This separation creates a simple route through the content: anyone who wants to discover the bot and its capabilities starts on the home page. Anyone who wants to see what has changed recently opens the changelog.
The introduction, command catalogue and change history no longer have to share the same space. The home page stays focused on getting started, while the changelog gets the dedicated room an ongoing project history needs.
