Friendly Helpers has been expanded in several areas: daily monitoring checks more parts of the project, player profiles make more targeted use of prepared data, and ship badges add a new public analysis.
More areas in the daily check
The daily health check now also covers bot servers, slash commands, data age, the API cache, feature usage, short links, player updates and the response times of important pages. The regular Thursday refresh for ships, features, achievements, commanders and maps is also documented in the existing status areas.
This gives a broader picture of whether the website and bot are reachable and whether regularly updated content and connected features work as intended.
Player profiles with staggered updates
Rank badges on player profiles are read from precomputed rankings. Heavy rank calculations therefore do not have to run again for every detail-page request. Ranked meta data also uses a local cache so that an expired entry does not block the page unnecessarily.
Player statistics are deliberately updated at staggered intervals: profiles are revisited after one hour, ship values after two hours, badges after four hours and achievements after twelve hours. Frequently needed values can therefore be refreshed sooner than content that changes less often.
New overview of ship Efficiency Badges
The /schiffs-abzeichen page ranks ships by how often Expert (E), 1st Grade, 2nd Grade and 3rd Grade badges appear in stored player profiles. Small ship images make the list easier to navigate. You can also filter by tier, nation and class.
A dismissible explanation box describes the analysis. Consistent notice boxes in several variants are now available for this and other pages. Permanent dismissal is used only where it is explicitly intended.
