Z-38 — Germany · Tier VII · Destroyer

A Type 1936A (Mob) destroyer equipped with 150 mm main guns. She was built as part of a mobilization program during World War II. The ship served as part of the escort for battleships Scharnhorst and Tirpitz, and she provided cover during the evacuation of German units in the Arctic. In January 1945, she engaged in a battle against British cruisers near Bergen. Afterward, Z-38 operated in the Baltic, supporting ground force operations, escorting transports, and accompanying Kriegsmarine warships. After the war, she was transferred to Britain, renamed HMS Nonsuch, and repurposed as a target ship.
