Dragon — Europe · Tier IV · Cruiser
A Danae-class cruiser constructed for the Royal Navy during World War I. Following the outbreak of World War II, she took part in a range of operations. In January 1943, the ship was transferred to the Polish Navy under her original name. Dragon escorted Arctic convoys and later supported the British landings at Sword Beach during Operation Overlord. On July 8, 1944, she was struck by a German manned torpedo receiving severe damage. Although the cruiser was still afloat, it was decided to scuttle the outdated ship to form part of a breakwater intended to protect the British Mulberry harbor.
